Hi everyone
Has anyone had problems with there hub caps. I have had one yesterday just come off although it appears the main part of the hub cap is still in place. Any advice on removal or replacement part No. would be appreciated. I have the 18 inch alloys.
Regards to all Rosco

You can get them off if your cautious by gentle prying, BUT as you have lost the main part it might not be possible so it's either take the wheel off and pop it from inside or just screw a screw in from outside and pull it off, better still take it to VW and make them swap it FOC as it's probably still under warranty.

PS I have seen where others have lost the shiny part just leaving the black back part.

it’s best to remove the wheel to remove the hub cap,VW has its own tool to remove without removing the wheel and without damaging

The PN for the OEM caps is: 5G0601171
Or you can just replace all 4 of them for the self levelling ones (PN: 000071213C) or with the new VW logo self-levelling ones (000071213D) :-)

Hi Rosco here thanks for all the replies managed to get one and fitted it by using a fine screw driver to get the old one off and a push fit for the new one. Thanks again.
