It's not just you ... I'm really glad a got my R-Line before this so called facelift. I think the front of the new R-Line looks hideous. Even the wonky hexagonal DRLs look better.

As for the 'fake' exhaust ports without the chrome surround, they are now just pointless holes, so why not just do away with them entirely and have a 'flat' bumper as on many other brands.

The 'fake' exhaust ports on the current model. I just don’t understand why they put them so high up!!!???

I think the changes made are very subtle and don't go far enough 🤷‍♂️
Not sure when I'll change again as I normally hold on to a car 7 years+, there should be a T-Roc mark 3 out by then probably costing 40k+ 🤔

Another penny-pinching move by VW methinks. It looks like the same black plastic moulding has been carried forward, and to make it look different they just deleted the chrome surrounds and slightly thickened the trim over the mock diffuser.

Thanks for this update. It's interesting. Seems the infotainment system is quite similar to the ones in ID3 or ID4 ?

Active Info is stationary though which is MUCH better. The ID3/4 has one that is attached to the wheel so apparently it can be hard to see depending on your height and/or seating position.
