Can't say I like the R-Line front bumper.

And I don't fancy any further touch controls. Using the Infotainment/SatNav touch is 'touch and go' even for a front seat passenger. Much easier to grip a rotary dial to adjust temp/fan and push real buttons to change air flow etc. No doubt it is cheaper, so who cares about usability for drivers.
I doubt it’s cheaper but I do think this is a classic case of “we know what the market wants” without actually doing any research. Not a single motoring journalist likes the new touch controls and this could have all been avoided with a simple focus group.

I was hopeful the R-line bumper would look more like the R but to me it just looks a little forced in without the space for it. Admittedly the picture above is a really bad angle and it does look better face-on.

I will agree there, not a fan of having the daylight driving lights in the headlights.
So no bumpers swapping for me :D :D

No, they’re still lower down like intake surrounds *but* they no longer flash orange on turn signal. That is only in the headlights now. Not sure why this has changed as it was pretty iconic and one of the quirks about my car I like. Probably down to cost.

Thanks. Thats good to know. Also, is it just me or do the new daylight driving lights look more round/elliptical than the old squarish ones?

It’s not just you. I also don’t like that they look wonky now. They sort of point inward whereas the outgoing model’s always look straight.
